Khammouane police prepares for Pi Mai

Attention will be paid to public education encouraging vehicle users understanding of and respecting traffic rules, and ensuring people use safe equipment for throwing and splashing water during Lao New Year celebration in Khammouane province, said an officer.

Director of Traffic Police Service in Khammouane province Maj. Col. Olith Phanathep said last week that his service would cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure traffic could flow smoothly and work with national defense officers and police officers in districts across the province in monitoring the celebration of people in the province to ensure free-accident celebration of the Lao New Year 2555.

All vehicle users should celebrate the Lao New Year happily and be cautious on using their vehicles and respect traffic rules, said Mr. Olith.
