Held yesterday at the Ministry of National Defence, the seminar is opportunity for the senior officials of the ministry to familiarize themselves with capital market and the function of the Lao Securities Exchange.

The opening ceremony of the seminar saw the presence of Acting Secretary General of the Securities Exchange Commission Office Ms Vathana Dalaloy and Deputy Director of the Logistics Department, National Defense, who is in charge of economic affairs for the Lao Peoples Army Brig. Gen. Phouvong Vongphom.

The Lao Securities and Exchange Commission play a key role as an administrator for the Lao Securities Exchange in managing securities transaction and stock market in line with the party policy and the socio-economic development plan of the government, said Ms Vathana.
