The meeting heard a report on the preparation of documents for the coming election to the National Assembly, seventh legislature, and the participants also discussed a number of issues that would be presented to the coming 10th ordinary session of the sixth National Assembly.

They also discussed a proposal for the appointment of the Acting Chairman for the Commission of Law of the National Assembly.

Another topic of discussion was the preparatory work to draft and revise some laws, slated for submission to the 10th ordinary session of the 6th National Assembly.

A proposal for the ratification of an agreement on double taxation avoidance and curbing tax avoidance between Laos and several foreign countries was also brought into discussion.
